Church “St. Trinity”

The church “Holy Trinity” was built in 1835 by local builders with the joint efforts and donations of the residents of Bansko. At that time, the Ottomans allowed churches to be built only in places where there had been a temple before. Therefore, the locals buried an icon and a cross in the current courtyard. There is also a bell tower that rings every hour. The temple, one of the most remarkable churches in Bulgaria from the second half of the 19th century, has been declared a cultural monument.
